Community Development Needs Assessment - 2024

  1. CITY OF FRAMINGHAM – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS ASSESSMENT

    The City of Framingham receives Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) each year. The City of Framingham wants you to have a voice in how the money is invested. Please assist us by filling out this survey.  CDBG funds can only be used to meet the following needs: 

    1. Low- Mode Areas within census tracts where 51% or more of the population have incomes that are at most 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
    2. Limited Clientele- Households whose income is 80% or less of the AMI or
    3. Address Slum/ Blight
  2. Part I: (1) Consider the needs in your community and how they can be improved. (2) Rank the need level for each of the following items with 1 being the most needed, 2 being second most needed, etc.

  51. Part II: As part of the planning process, the City of Framingham analyzes factors that limit fair housing choices in the city. Your own experiences will contribute to the efforts to research obstacles such as the nature and extent of housing discrimination in the County. This information will be used to assist in developing strategies to overcome impediments to fair housing choice. This survey is for information-gathering purposes only.
