Culvert Construction Work to Continue on Edmands Road November 24–25


FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham Department of Public Works announces that Newport Construction will conduct Phase Two of the culvert construction project at 251 Edmands Road on Monday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 25.

Work will occur between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and Edmands Road will fully reopen to traffic at the end of each workday.

A detour will be in place during construction. Access will remain open from the west up to #249, and residents approaching from the east will continue to have access to 251 Edmands Road. A detour map is provided below.

ADA Map Description: The map shows a detour route around a work zone on Edmands Road in Framingham. The closed section of Edmands Road is highlighted in yellow with “Road Closed” signs at each end. A red line marks the detour, directing drivers from Edmands Road to Grove Street, then to Winch Street, and back toward Edmands Road from the east. Orange detour signs mark the left and right turns along the route. Two blue “P” icons show police detail locations near the construction area. A legend in the lower-left corner explains the symbols. The Framingham DPW logo is displayed in the bottom-right corner.
