DPW Contractor To Mill & Pave on Elm, Chestnut, and Edwards Streets Starting Monday, July 7
FRAMINGHAM - Framingham Department of Public Works (DPW) is announcing Ellingwood Construction will begin milling and paving work on Elm Street (between McGrath Square and Chestnut Street), Chestnut Street, and Edwards Street beginning Monday, July 7.
The work is expected to last approximately one week.
Project Details:
- Work Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Affected Streets: Elm Street (between McGrath Square and Chestnut Street), Chestnut Street, Edwards Street
- Traffic Impact:
- Elm Street will remain open with two lanes, but traffic may alternate to one lane at times.
- Chestnut Street will have a detour route, directing residents attempting to access the end of Chestnut Street around the back of Stapleton School to Edwards Street.
- Edwards Street will be closed to traffic while milling and paving occur.
During construction, all roads will remain open to emergency vehicles at all times.
