City of Framingham Advertising To Fill Seats on Loring Arena Advisory Committee

 

 

 

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham is advertising for multiple volunteers for the 7-member Loring Arena Advisory Committee.

 Appointed by the Mayor, the committee is comprised of members of the skating community representing the various user groups in Framingham including youth through adult hockey, figure skating, hockey operations, and municipal government.

 The Committee advises the Mayor and the City on issues including ice rental rates, policy guidance, community feedback, and future trends. 

 Members serve a 3-year term, but there are some partial terms available.

Applying does not guarantee an appointment.

Incumbents and women are encouraged to apply.

 The deadline to apply is Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

 The Mayor’s nominees will need to then go before the City Council appointment subcommittee, and then the full City Council for review.
