Team Framingham Selects 25 Runners for the 2025 Boston Marathon
FRAMINGHAM – On Monday night, October 28, 2024, Team Framingham selected 25 runners for the 2025 Boston Marathon bibs.
Runners selected in the lottery were:

- Tara Foynes
- Angela Murgia
- Michael Bower

- Jennifer Byrne
- Gianna Watson
- Jacqueline Burgoyne
- Barry Kling
- Trevor O’Leary
- Anna Rouse
- Alina Ribeiro
- Janice Batista
- Maryellen Hamilton
- Francis Pawluczonek
- Albert Parent
- Marissa Trasj
- Claire Kelly
A wait list of names was also chosen in a lottery, just in case a runner drops out due to an injury or another reason.
The 2025 Boston Marathon is on Monday, April 21.
Runners will commit to a fundraising goal of $5,000 and a minimum obligation of $2,500 for 2025.
A runner who fails to reach the minimum fundraising obligation will not be eligible to participate in the lottery in the future.
Runners will choose from 5 organizations also selected in a lottery on Monday night. A record-breaking 19 organizations applied for the five organization spots.
Team Framingham was formed for the 2014 Boston Marathon to formalize the process for distributing the entries provided to the City of Framingham by the Boston Athletic Association (BAA), the organizers of the annual Boston Marathon.
A Mayor-appointed Steering Committee oversees the Team Framingham program, which includes training sessions and other tips for Marathon runners.
