Framingham DPW To Start Water Main Replacement Project on Second Street

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham continues to improve your water system for your personal and the community’s benefit.

As part of the Infrastructure Improvement Program, the City of Framingham is upgrading about 1,200’ of water main on Second Street between Beaver Street and Taralli Terrace as well as Taralli Terrace between Second Street and Beaver Park Road.

This is phase 1 and the remainder of Second Street will be completed in future phases.

The City of Framingham’s utility contractor, Russo Bros, will be performing this work.

This work is scheduled to begin during the week of August 12, and will continue for approximately 8 weeks.

If you encounter any problems due to this work or have any questions, please contact the Water Department at 508-532-6050.

Eventually, Second Street is scheduled for a roadway reconstruction and sidewalk upgrades.

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated while we improve the City of Framingham’s infrastructure.
