Lake Waushakum Beach Re-Opens For Swimming
FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has eliminated a health advisory at Lake Waushakum beach.
The beach is safe for swimming and other water activities as of Thursday night, May 23.
Lifeguards will not be at the City beach this Memorial Day weekend.
The City typically does not man the City’s three beaches – Waushakum Learned’s Pond, and Saxonville Beach – until mid-June.
The City is still seeking lifeguards for its beaches this summer.
Interested applicants should apply via the City’s employment portal at www.framinghamma.gov.
