She will work along side a diverse group of leaders with a wide-range of knowledge while providing innovative advice, and dynamic perspectives to support professional learning and development to evoke true cultural change.
“I am honored to be appointed to serve on the Advisory Board for the Women in Leadership program at the University of New Haven. In addition, the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) elected Prue to serve as the next President-Elect of the Association.
She was elected by the membership and was sworn in as President-Elect on Wednesday, March 20 at the MRPA’s annual conference and membership meeting.
The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association is dedicated to the promotion, advancement, development, and improvement of all recreation and park services within Massachusetts as well as on a national level.
“I am very excited and looking forward to serving the MRPA as their President-Elect this year. With the support of Mayor, Charlie Sisitsky, as well as the Division and Commissioners, I served this past year as the Associations Vice President. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing professionals from across the Commonwealth while contributing to the continued success of the Association. As we look forward to celebrating the Associations 40th year, I plan to add to the milestones and accomplishments of the MRPA,” said Prue.
