Repairs have been completed to the westbound lane of the Central Street Bridge over the Sudbury River in Saxonville. MassDOT has completed a review of the repairs and an analysis of the bridge weight capacity. The bridge will be reopened to two-way traffic on Tuesday February 9th with a posted weight limit restriction in both directions. The Central Street Bridge will be posted with the following weight restrictions: 2-axle vehicles 13 tons, 3-axle vehicles 15 tons, and 5-axle vehicles 18 tons. Vehicles with weights in excess of this posting shall seek alternate routes.
