Framingham Community Development Department Requesting Proposals for Block Grant (CDBG) Funding

 

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham’s Community Development Department is accepting proposals for Fiscal Year 2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, covering the period July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.

Proposals will be accepted from September 22, 2025 through November 25, 2025.

Local nonprofit organizations and City departments are strongly encouraged to apply under the Public Service category at the following link: https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/framinghamma/Participant

To assist applicants, the Community Development Department will host a virtual information session on:

About the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

The CDBG program is a federally funded initiative of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Established in 1974, the program provides annual grants to cities, towns, and states to develop viable urban communities.

Funds may be used for a wide range of activities, including public services, affordable housing, infrastructure improvements, neighborhood revitalization, and economic development projects.
