Sidewalk Improvements Scheduled at Salem End Road and High Street Intersection

 

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Public Works announced Newport Construction will begin sidewalk improvement work at the intersection of Salem End Road and High Street starting Wednesday, May 28.

The project includes the installation of ADA-compliant ramps and the construction of a new sidewalk segment to connect with the existing pathway. 

Work will be weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained wherever possible, with alternating traffic patterns implemented as needed to ensure safety and minimize disruption.

The project is expected take about 2-3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through the area.
