Framingham Highway Department’s Urban Street Sweeping Begins in May
FRAMINGHAM - As part of its ongoing commitment to keeping Framingham’s streets and waterways clean, the Framingham Public Works Department is announcing the return of the Urban Street Sweeping Program. This program will help maintain the cleanliness of urban areas by regularly sweeping city streets and preventing debris from clogging storm drains.
The sweeping schedule will run every Tuesday from May through November, with NO PARKING from 9 a.m. to noon on designated streets in the southern urban areas of Framingham. This initiative will ensure that our streets remain safe, clean, and free of debris that could potentially affect water quality.
The program is divided into four geographic areas, each with a designated sweeping date. The streets included in each area are as follows:

Important Notice: Vehicles parked on the listed streets during the posted sweeping times will be ticketed and towed. Please pay close attention to the newly installed NO PARKING signs to avoid fines.
