DPW Continues Sidewalk Work on Brook Street

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Works Department is currently engaged in enhancing Brook Street, both the road and sidewalks.

According to the City's Highway Director, the segment from Frost Street to Salvi Drive was successfully completed last week.

The ongoing project will now progress from Salvi Drive to Water Street over the course of this week and the following week, said the Framingham Highways Director.

As school resumed last week, the Department of Public Works (DPW) has collaborated with the Police Department to ensure the safety of students commuting to and from school.

DPW Director Bob Lewis highlighted that upon the approach of children near the work area, machinery halts, and police officers guide pedestrians safely around the construction zone.
