Two Alarm Fire at 33 Interfaith Terrace; Two Residents Rescued, More Than 10 Individuals Displaced

FRAMINGHAM - The Framingham Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at 33 Interfaith Terrace this evening, November 30, just before 8 p.m.

Firefighters rescued two residents from a second-floor apartment: a 49-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Both are currently in stable condition at MetroWest Medical Center, said the Framingham Fire Chief.

Fire Chief Dutcher reported one firefighter sustained a minor injury during the response.

More than 10 individuals were displaced by the fire, and the Red Cross is on scene assisting those affected, said Chief Dutcher.

The fire was contained to a single unit; however, seven units sustained fire or smoke damage.

Chief Dutcher praised the efforts of Group 4, stating, “This was excellent work by our team. Thanks to their swift and coordinated response, two individuals were rescued, and the fire was prevented from spreading further.”

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
