Framingham DPW Announces Sewer Main Replacement Work on Angelica Drive

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s Division of Public Works, Water & Wastewater Department, will complete work on Centennial Place by the middle of next week and begin the next phase of sewer main replacement on Thursday, October 30 (weather dependent).

The upcoming work will take place on Angelica Drive between Lanewood Avenue and Waveney Way and is expected to last approximately two weeks.

When construction occurs at the intersection of Lanewood Avenue and Angelica Drive, traffic will be limited to one lane with alternating flow. This phase is expected to last one to two days.

Once the project moves further along Angelica Drive (between Lanewood Avenue and Waveney Way), through traffic will be detoured as follows:

  • Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Waveney Way to Waveney Road.
  • Westbound traffic will be detoured via Lanewood Avenue to Stanley Drive.

On-street parking will not be permitted on Angelica Drive, Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during construction.

Notices are being distributed today (October 24) to immediate abutters to inform them of the upcoming work and any temporary access impacts.

The City appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure improvement project progresses.
