Mayor Seeks Volunteer For Framingham Community Center Advisory Committee

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham is seeking applicants to fill a seat on the Mayoral Community Center Advisory Committee.

The open seat is designated for a representative from a non-profit organization representative.

The vacancy was created when the previous member resigned after leaving their position with the organization they represented.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

The term is non-specific, as the Advisory Committee was established by Mayor Charlie Sisitsky through an executive order. Members serve until they resign or until the committee is disbanded.

The Committee typically meets once a month on a Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m., although it could meet more frequently.

To apply, visit the Boards and Commissions page on the City’s website and complete the online application form at:
https://www.framinghamma.gov/FormCenter/Office-of-the-Mayor-12/Boards-Committees-Commission-Officers-Ap-46

No resume or cover letter is required to apply for this position. The Mayor will review all applications submitted by the deadline and make an appointment.

No legislative (City Council) review is needed for this Committee.
