City of Framingham Announces Team Framingham 2026 Boston Marathon Lottery Winners


FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham is proud to announce the runners selected via lottery to participate in the 2026 Boston Marathon, which will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026.

The Team Framingham lottery was held last night, October 20.

Team Framingham program provides local runners the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon while raising funds for local charities that make a difference in our community.

This year’s selected runners will raise money for five Framingham-based nonprofit organizations:

  • Mental Health Collaborative
  • Friends of the Framingham Heart Study
  • Friends of Callahan
  • Framingham FORCE
  • Downtown Framingham, Inc.

The selected runners will begin their official training with the Team Framingham Steering Committee, chaired by Jeff Rouse, starting next month. The Committee provides guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the training season leading up to Marathon Monday.

If a runner is unable to fulfill their commitment to the race or becomes injured, individuals will be selected from the waitlist in the order listed above to fill any open bibs.
