City of Framingham Advertising For Volunteers For the Fair Housing Committee

 

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham is seeking applicants for the 13-member Framingham Fair Housing Committee.

 

 The Fair Housing Committee focuses on ensuring access to affordable and safe housing for all segments of the community. Additional responsibilities include the study of issues, public education, and advocacy.

 

There are multiple openings. The nine members should be broadly representative of the Framingham community and interested in the housing market.

 

 Current members are welcome to reapply, but are not guaranteed re-appointment.

 

The deadline to apply is November is Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

The Mayor will review all applications submitted by the deadline and make nominations to the City Council. No resume or cover letter is required to apply for this position.

 

 The City Council, as the legislative branch of City Government, has 30 days to approve or reject the Mayor’s nominations.
