About the Women, Children, and Families Commission

The Women, Children, and Families Commission’s mission is to empower women and families by advocating for their needs and promoting equity, opportunity, and inclusion. Through education, outreach, collaboration, and policy recommendations, the Commission seeks to improve the quality of life for those most in need and ensure that all residents have a strong foundation to thrive.

The Commission examines and facilitates conversations on issues that affect women and families, especially children,  and provides a voice for residents by advocating for fundamental freedoms, human rights, economic prosperity, and intersectional equity.
