Eversource Gas Road Work Scheduled on Salem End Road and Singletary Lane

FRAMINGHAM - The Framingham Department of Public Works is advising residents and motorists of upcoming daytime road work being conducted by Eversource Gas on Salem End Road and a short section of Singletary Lane.

Work is scheduled to take place this week between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Specifically:

  • Tuesday, September 23: Milling operations on Salem End Road from Badger Road to 300 feet east of Temple Street, as well as a short section of Singletary Lane.
  • Wednesday, September 24: Paving operations along the same stretch.

During paving on September 24, Salem End Road will be closed at Temple Street to westbound traffic.

A detour will be in place:

  • Westbound motorists will be detoured via Temple Street to Route 9 West, then onto Gates Road, returning to Salem End Road.
  • Eastbound traffic on Salem End Road between Badger Road and Temple Street will remain open.

The Department of Public Works advises drivers to plan accordingly, seek alternate routes when possible, and expect delays in the area during construction hours.

For questions, please contact Eversource Gas in Massachusetts at 1-800-592-2000.
