Framingham 325th Committee Accepting Applications for Framingham FEST on October 4
FRAMINGHAM –The Framingham 325th Celebration Committee invites the community to be part of Framingham Fest, a major milestone event taking place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Framingham Centre Common.
A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, October 5 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Framingham Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration designed to showcase everything that makes Framingham special, featuring local organizations, businesses, performers, food, and fun.
The event is one of the signature moments in the City’s yearlong 325th anniversary celebration. Mayor Charlie Sisitsky appointed a 325th Committee in late 2024. The Committee has been hosting events and activities all year. Framingham officially turned 325 on June 25, 2025.
Framingham Fest is being organized by a dedicated subcommittee of the 325th Celebration Committee, co-chaired by Framingham residents Eileen Davis and Courtney Suncar, who are working with a subcommittee of volunteers to put on the community event.
“Framingham Fest is a day to come together and celebrate the rich culture, history, and diversity that define our city,” said Anna Tucker, Co-Chair of the Framingham 325th Celebration Committee and Executive Director of the Framingham History Center. “We want to highlight the people and organizations that make Framingham a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and play.”
“The plan for Framingham Fest includes family-friendly activities, food trucks, musical and dance performances, and a celebration of the city’s multiculturalism,” said Susan Scully Petroni, Co-Chair of the Framingham 325th Celebration Committee. “One of the highlights will be a school mascot competition that’s sure to bring out community pride and spirit.”
“As longtime residents, we’re thrilled to help bring Framingham Fest to life,” said Eileen Davis and Courtney Suncar, co-chairs of the Framingham FEST subcommittee. “This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our city’s vibrant community spirit and provide a fun, welcoming space for people of all ages to connect and enjoy the day together.”
