Volunteers Wanted For Cushing Memorial Chapel Advisory Committee
FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham is seeking applicants for the 9-member Cushing Memorial Chapel Advisory Committee.
Cushing Memorial Chapel is a nonsectarian Chapel owned by the City of Framingham and located on Dudley Road, in Cushing Memorial Park.
The Chapel celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2024.
The Chapel was built in 1943-1944 as part of the Cushing General Hospital complex to care for wounded WWII soldiers. The Chapel is one of of a handful of buildings that remain of the hospital complex at the former grounds. The Chapel is available to rent for functions.
There are two 3-year seats through June 30, 2028.
There is a Framingham History Center seat through June 30, 2028.
There is a seat through June 30, 2027.
Current members are welcome to reapply, but are not guaranteed re-appointment.
No cover letter or resume is required.
The deadline extended to August 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

The Mayor will review all applications submitted by the deadline and make nominations to the City Council. No resume or cover letter is required to apply for this position.
The City Council, as the legislative branch of City Government, has 30 days to approve or reject the Mayor’s nominations.
