City of Framingham Invites Residents to Celebrate 325th Anniversary with the Team Framingham 3.25 Mile Fun Run & Walk
FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham invites residents and visitors to join in the celebration of Framingham’s 325th anniversary with the Team Framingham 3.25 Mile Fun Run & Walk, taking place on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 8 a.m. at Bowditch Field Complex, 475 Union Avenue, Framingham.
This family-friendly, timed event is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while honoring Framingham’s rich history. Hosted by Team Framingham, the event also highlights the team’s mission of training Boston Marathon runners and raising funds for local charities. Over the past 12 years, Team Framingham has helped 243 runners cross the Boston finish line and raised over $1 million for local non-profits.
We’re also excited to share that this race has been added as a Grand Prix event in the Greater Framingham Running Club’s official race schedule, making it a great opportunity for local runners to earn points while supporting the community.
Cost to register is $32.50 for those age 11 and older.
Event Highlights Include:
- 3.25-mile course through scenic Cushing Park, finishing with a celebratory lap on the Bowditch track
- Free for children 10 and under with a registered adult.
- Commemorative 325th hats for the first 300 registrants
- Meet Team Framingham alumni and learn more about the Boston Marathon lottery and training program
Bib Pick-Up Information:
- Early Bib Pick-Up: Friday, September 12 | 3 to 7 p.m. at Bowditch Field
- Day-of Pick-Up: Sunday, September 14 | Starting at 7 a.m.
