Construction to Begin on Brook Street Starting Monday, June 23 


Framingham - The City of Framingham will begin road work on Brook Street starting Monday, June 23, 2025, as part of scheduled infrastructure improvements. The project will run through the week with a detour in place and access maintained for local residents and emergency vehicles.

Construction hours will be Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Construction schedule:

  • Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24: Milling operations will be conducted on Brook Street and Edgebrook.
  • Wednesday, June 25: Leveler paving on Brook Street.
  • Thursday, June 26: Road will be open with alternating traffic. Sidewalk construction will begin and continue into early August.

A detour will be in effect Monday through Wednesday to ensure the safety of workers and travelers.

Note: This in addition to road construction starting on Edgell Road on Monday, June 23 as well.
