City Council Chair Names 3 To Pubic Safety, Health, & Transportation Subcommittee
FRAMINGHAM – Framingham City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr. announced members of the City Council Public safety, Health, & Transportation Subcommittee on Tuesday, February 20.
Members of the City Council Appointment Subcommittee include:
- District 1 Councilor Christine Long
- District 8 Councilor Leslie White Harvey
- District 9 Councilor Tracey Bryant
The Public Health, Safety and Transportation Subcommittee considers and reports on all matters relating to the Police Department, Fire Department, the Police and Fire Auxiliary, the Emergency Management Department, the local Emergency Planning Committee, Public Health Department, Licensing Commission, and any other matters referred to it by the Council or Council Chair.
Chair Ottaviani named Council Vice Chair Bryant the convener, who will call the first meeting. At that first meeting, the subcommittee will elect a chair and a vice chair.
The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. remotely on Zoom.
