The Memorial Building closes early on Fridays at 12:30 p.m.

The Memorial Building will re-open on Tuesday, February 20 at 8:30 a.m. and be open until 7 p.m.

There will be no curbside trash & recycling collection on Presidents’ Day.

Trash collection will be on a one-day delayed schedule for the rest of the week, That means if your normal day is Wednesday, it will be collected on Thursday.

Initially founded in 1885 to honor President George Washington, this federal holiday transitioned to being commonly referred to as Presidents' Day in 1971. Although some states retain separate holidays to commemorate the birthdays of Washington and President Abraham Lincoln, Presidents' Day has evolved into a widely observed holiday to celebrate all U.S. presidents.
