City Council Chair Ottaviani Appoints Finance Subcommittee
FRAMINGHAM – Framingham City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr. announced members of the City Council Finance Subcommittee today, January 8, 2024.
Members of the City Council Finance Subcommittee include:
- At-Large City Councilor George King Jr.
- District 3 Councilor Adam Steiner
- District 4 Councilor Michael Cannon
- District 5 Councilor Noval Alexander
- District 7 Councilor Leora Mallach
The Finance Subcommittee reviews the City budget, including the creation of new positions to the payroll and changes to the employee classification. The Subcommittee also reviews capital projects and appropriation & bond requests.
The Finance Subcommittee is the only subcommittee mandated in the City Charter.
At the first meeting, the subcommittee will elect a chair and a vice chair. The date and time for the first meeting has not been set yet.
The next full City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 16 at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room in the Memorial Building
