Mayor Advertising For Volunteer for Strategic Initiatives & Financial Oversight Committee

FRAMINGHAM  - The Mayor is seeking a resident to serve on the Strategic Initiatives and Financial Oversight Committee (SIFOC).

One seat is currently vacant for a Mayoral Appointment (Finance expertise) following the January resignation of Ken Russo, who had been serving as Chair of the Committee.

The Committee reports annually to the Mayor, Council, and School Committee, and files all reports with the City Clerk.

SIFOC is comprised of nine members appointed to staggered three-year terms: three appointed by the Mayor (including the Chair), three by the City Council, and three by the School Committee.

Each appointing authority must select at least one member with financial expertise and one member from the local business community.
