Water Main Break on Salem End Road

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Water Department is reporting a major water main break has occurred on Salem End Road, just before noon on Monday, February 9, 2026.
 
The road is closed between Singletary Lane and Temple Street. Detour is in place.
 
Water service has been shut off to 28 homes in the affected area, including Cherry Oca. 
 
Crews are mobilizing to be on site to make the repair.
 
Water restoration is expected late this evening. Road restoration will be after that.
