Framingham To Hold Youth Summit on Sunday Afternoon, December 14

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham invites all youth ages 13–22 to participate in the Framingham Youth Summit 2025, a community event designed to amplify young voices and connect future leaders with local government.

The summit will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Main Framingham Public Library, 49 Lexington Street.

Organized by Isabella Petroni, founder of the Framingham Youth Council and current elected Library Trustee, along with City Councilor Noval Alexander and School Committee Member Adam Freudberg, the event welcomes all Framingham youth, no registration or prior involvement required.

Former Framingham Youth Councilor Matt Kelly will also speak at the event, offering insight into the Youth Council experience.

The summit will introduce attendees to the Framingham Youth Council, explain its mission, and highlight the important role young people play in shaping city initiatives.

Participants will hear how they can get involved in local government and lend their voices to issues that matter to them, including environmental concerns, health topics, and community priorities.

The event will feature roundtable discussions, opportunities to engage directly with elected officials, and information on how to apply for the next Youth Council term in 2026.
