Framingham Water Infrastructure Work Resumes on Second Street
FRAMINGHAM- The City of Framingham’s Water & Wastewater Division of Public Works will continue ongoing water infrastructure work on Second Street throughout August, with several key phases scheduled:
Friday, August 8:
Work resumes with bypass piping setup between the Beaver Brook bridge and Waverly Street.
A detour will be in place using Taralli Terrace to Second Street.
The area will remain accessible to emergency vehicles.
Tuesday, August 12 & Wednesday, August 13:
Bypass piping and hydrant installation will occur on the dead-end section of Second Street off Beaver Street.
Monday, August 18:
Excavation begins at the Waverly Street end of Second Street as part of ongoing water main improvements.
Wednesday, August 20 & Thursday, August 21:
Planned night work is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at the intersection of Second Street and Waverly Street.
