Framingham to Begin Spring Street Sweeping Program on Monday, April 7

 

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham’s Department of Public Works will launch its annual Spring City-Wide Street Sweeping Program on Monday, April 7, 2025, weather permitting. 

 

This initiative is essential for maintaining clean streets, improving stormwater drainage, and enhancing the overall appearance of the city.

 

To ensure an efficient and effective sweeping process, residents are reminded not to park on the street when posted. Vehicles obstructing street sweeping equipment will be towed.

 

Tentative Sweeping Schedule:

The street sweeping program will follow a zone-based schedule, with each zone expected to take approximately one day to complete, provided weather conditions allow. The first five zones are scheduled as follows:

The schedule remains tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions. Delays of a week or more are possible. 


A total of 14 zones will be swept as part of the program.
