MassDOT To Pave Union Avenue Starting Wednesday

 

 

 

FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will conduct final paving on Union Avenue, starting tomorrow, May 29.

 

Weather permitting, paving is scheduled to be completed May 29-30-31 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Final paving on Union Avenue is scheduled to take place May 29th through May 31st between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., weather permitting. 

 

Paving operations will be performed by E.T. & L. on a portion of Union Avenue between the Proctor Street and Walnut Street, said the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

During working hours, Union Avenue Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Lincoln Street or Franklin Street, and back onto Union Avenue. Union Avenue Northbound traffic will continue as normal. At the end of the night, the road will be open to traffic in both directions.  

 

On-street parking will be strictly prohibited, and police details will be onsite to facilitate residential traffic.
