Councilors Alexander, Mallach, & Steiner Named To Environment & Sustainability Subcommittee

 

 

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr. announced members of the City Council Environment & Sustainability Subcommittee on Tuesday, February 20.

 Members of the City Council Appointment Subcommittee include:

 

  • District 3 Councilor Adam Steiner
  • District 5 Councilor Noval Alexander
  • District 7 Councilor Leora Mallach

 

The subcommittee will focus on: air, land and water pollution, solid and hazardous waste disposal and land reclamation, recycling and sustainability, energy savings and efficiency and other matters related to the physical environment of Framingham. It will also monitor the impact of industry and development on the quality of life of our residents.

Chair Ottaviani named Councilor Alexander the convener, who will call the first meeting. At that first meeting, the subcommittee will elect a chair and a vice chair.
