Community input was gathered in 2022 to help create a Master Plan for Reardon Park. Initial cost estimates exceeded $3 million for a complete park redesign.
A new design is underway to reduce construction costs and focus on creating accessible pathways and connections within the park.
Due to the proximity of powerlines and associated Eversource easement, the City is in the process of acquiring appropriate permits. However, the permit process can take several months.
Once permits are secured, revised construction cost estimates will be utilized to submit a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) request for park construction.
