Track Usage
Unless otherwise noted, the Bowditch Track (1/4 mile) is open to residents for walking and running. At times, we may have permitted events or scheduled maintenance at the track/field, which may temporarily prohibit public use. Weather conditions such as snow or Ice may also prohibit use. During closures, you may have the option to use the perimeter path (approximately 1/2 mile) around the outside of the stadium or visit another nearby park for outdoor activity. Cushing Memorial Park and Farm Pond Park have multiple recreational paths and are approximately 1.5 miles from Bowditch Field Complex. Please check back for updates on Bowditch Track Closures.
Sporting Events at the Complex
Bowditch Athletic and Cultural Complex hosts multiple sporting events for two local high schools, two area colleges, various youth leagues, and semi-professional teams located within Metro West. Site amenities include four tennis courts, two basketball courts, a 6-lane track, designated areas for track and field events, and an NCAA regulation baseball diamond.
In addition to these amenities, Bowditch Field's tennis courts, basketball courts, track, and multi-use playing surface are lit by multilevel lighting to support nighttime recreational and sporting activities.
