The Framingham Charter of 2018 specified the Edgell Grove Trustees should be responsible for the municipal cemeteries of the newly created City of Framingham. In July of 2023, the Department of Cemeteries was created by the city and responsibility for the Edwards Cemetery, the Old South Cemetery, and the Church Hill (Old Burying Ground) Cemetery was transferred per the Charter.
Thus, all questions concerning Edgell Grove, Edwards, Old South, and Church Hill (Old Burying Ground) should be directed to the Department of Cemeteries.
