The Callahan Center offers a wide range of educational opportunities to keep your mind and body engaged. Programs include:
Creative & Cultural Programs: Art classes, digital photography, writing and poetry workshops (offered periodically), and presentations on art, music, and theater
Lifelong Learning & Enrichment: Historical presentations, travelogues, and sessions on topics of interest to older adults
Health & Wellness Education: Presentations on estate planning, healthy aging, brain health, Medicare, and local community issues
Safety Awareness: Programs focused on scams, fraud prevention, fire safety, and personal safety tips
Technology Support: Computer classes on a variety of topics—from streaming and social media to password protection and more. Public computers are also available for checking email or browsing the internet.
Fitness & Wellbeing: A variety of fitness classes, a meditation class, and access to the Callahan Center Fitness Room
Library Access: The Framingham Public Library provides a Library Book Locker onsite for convenient returns and pick-up of reserved items. The Callahan Center also offers a free library of books and puzzles for members to enjoy
