Licensing

The Licensing Office processes applications and maintains records of all licenses and permits under the licensing authority of the Board of License Commissioners, City Council, and some under the authority of the Police Department.

IMPORTANT NEWS

The City of Framingham will be moving online Permitting and Licensing to OpenGov starting July 1st, 2025. 

To use OpenGov Permitting and Licensing you will need to go through a simple account creation process. With this account you will have a single place to check on your permits/licenses, payments and communicate with staff.
