📢 Important Tax Payment Information

New Payment Addresses

The Treasurer/Collector’s Office would like to inform residents of updated mailing addresses for tax payments.

3rd quarter FY2026 real estate and personal property tax bills will arrive in mailboxes soon. The bills are due by Monday, February 2, 2026

Please use the following updated PO Box addresses when mailing payments:

  • Real Estate, Personal Property, and Water Bills:

  • Excise Tax Payments:
    📬 PO Box 847040, Boston, MA 02284-7040

💡 Reminder: If you pay through your bank’s online bill pay service, be sure to update the mailing address to avoid delays in processing.

Mission Statement:

The Treasurer/Collector’s Office is responsible for the billing and collection of amounts due to the city, including Real Estate Tax, Personal Property Tax, Motor Vehicle Excise Tax, and Water/Sewer Utility Bills. Additionally, we receive Parking Meter receipts, Federal and State reimbursements and grants, as well as a myriad of miscellaneous departmental permits, licenses and fees. 

CONVENIENCE CHARGES

Use of a charge or debit card will incur a convenience fee based on a percentage of the amount paid and depending on the type the card used. The fee when using an ACH debit is flat rate no matter the bill amount. The City of Framingham receives only the bill payment amount.

Online Payment fees: 2.95% for major credit cards / ACH payments $0.50
