CITY OF FRAMINGHAM PURCHASING DEPARTMENT
INVITATION FOR BIDS
IFB# PW-1248 – On Call Road Rehabilitation
The City of Framingham, through the Mayor of Framingham Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the asphalt pavement, guardrails, curbs and sidewalks and drainage systems on public roads and/or segments of public roads within the City of Framingham including, but not limited to:
Removing and replacing existing asphalt surface course, construction of HMA /cement concrete sidewalks, ADA compliant curb ramps, stamped/colored asphalt and concrete, drainage rehabilitation/upgrades, removing and resetting all types of curbing/edging, installation of new curbing/edging, adjustment of castings, loaming and seeding, installation of temporary and permanent pavement markings/signs, replacing traffic signal loop detectors, installation of guardrail and chain link fence, temporary maintenance of traffic and other incidental items.
THE MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (MASSDOT) HAS PROVIDED A LIST TO THE FRAMINGHAM PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF APPROVED ELIGIBLE BIDDERS FOR THIS PROJECT. ONLY THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THIS LIST WILL RECEIVE OFFICIAL BID DOCUMENTS. ALL OTHERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AN INFORMATIONAL COPY. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION, for the project with an estimated value of $5,500,00.00 will be required.
Bid documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham’s Bidnet Direct portal on Wednesday February 11, 2026 after 10:00 A.M. in accordance with the documents prepared by BETA Group.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Bidnet Direct Portal. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.
Bids shall be submitted through Bidnet and are due on Thursday, March 5, 2026 by 10:00 AM.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
