FOR AGES 55+ -- ART APPRECIATION WORKSHOP: PIET MONDRIAN, Presented by Michele Marram -- Join us as research librarian Michele Marram explores the career of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch artist most well known as a leader of the De Stijl movement. How did this artist evolve from painting landscapes to those odd squares and rectangles? Following the presentation we’ll have a chance to create our own “Mondrian-esque” works. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Framingham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and in part by the Friends of Callahan.
