The City of Framingham, Massachusetts invites qualified public accounting firms, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to submit written fix fee proposals to conduct the annual financial audit of the year-end financial reports of the City for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020 in accordance with the specifications summarized below.
This shall include, but not be limited to an audit of the City’s federal awards, contributory retirement system, and school end of year compliance audit. Proposal shall include preparation of a management letter with recommendations for cost-beneficial improvements in the City’s financial reporting and controls over financial reporting; and to perform agreed upon procedures related to the fiscal management of the City.
RFP documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration
RPF documents will be available on Wednesday September 23, 2020 at 10:00 A.M on Vendor Registry. RFP’s must be submitted through Vendor Registry and are due on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration
The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the City’s best interest to do so.
