The City of Framingham is accepting bids for the rehabilitation and renovation of the current track and field at the Walsh Middle School Lower Athletic Complex (301 Brook Street). Subject to the appropriation of funds.  Specifically, this project will include removal of current track, replacing it with a smaller walking pathway; formalizing accessible parking off of the Walsh School driveway; removing and capping current drainage structures within the center playing field below grade; installation of a new natural turf field within the center area of the track; installation of irrigation system to all areas shown in site plans; and overall stormwater drainage improvements. This project is contingent upon capital funding approval by City Council for fiscal year 2020 (July 1, 2019). In addition, this project must follow a strict timeline for completion by August 21, 2019 to avoid any conflict with normal school operations.

All of the selected contractor’s onsite staff will be required to complete CORI checks due to a portion of this work continuing into the 2019-2020 school year.

Sealed bids shall be submitted in strict conformance with the bid document and will be received at 150 Concord Street, RM #123 Framingham, MA  01702 until 10:00 A.M. on Friday June 28, 2019.
