City of Framingham Seeking Multiple Applicants for the Human Relations Commission 

 

 

FRAMINGHAM - The City of Framingham is seeking multiple applicants for the Human Relations Commission. 

 

The purpose of the Commission is to deal with the causes of intergroup disunity which underlie the urban crisis, including, but not limited to, the elimination of conditions of bias discrimination and prejudice against minority groups, and to establish affirmative action programs to ensure equal enforcement of the law, and equal protection of the law, for all groups regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation, and genetics. 

 

Members must be residents of Framingham. 

 

The Mayor makes nominations to the Commission, however nominations are subject to confirmation by the 11-member City Council. 

 

There are three seats available through June 30, 2027.

 

There is one seat available through June 30, 2026.

 

There is one seat available through June 30, 2025.

The deadline to apply is Tuesday, February 20. 

 

The Commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
