Kick Off event Thursday, June 15 at Memorial Building
The Relay for Life of Framingham Natick Sherborn Ashland Holliston is coming to Framingham in September.
The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life will take place on Saturday, September 30 at Bowditch Field in the City of Framingham. This fundraising event will begin at 6 a.m. and will conclude at 12 a.m.
More than just a walk, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life brings together passionate supporters who embody the American Cancer Society mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
A special thank you goes to the City of Framingham and to Tufts Cancer Center for their dedication to the fight against cancer and for playing integral roles in making the Relay for Life MetroWest in Framingham happen.
“This year close to 2 million new cases will be diagnosed in 2023 nationwide. The Relay for Life event “honors those touched by cancer, remembers loved ones lost to the disease and takes action for lifesaving changes by raising money for research,” said City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky. “We are honored to host this event for the American Cancer Society at Bowditch Field.”
This volunteer-led experience unites communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and raise funds to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
