Myrtle, Learned, Thurber & Evergreen Streets

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Department of Public Works will restore the roadway on Myrtle, Learned, Thurber and Evergreen Streets. Work includes milling and overlaying the pavement (2,000 LF), and restoration of existing sidewalks (2,950 LF) with ADA improvements.

The majority of the work will take place during the daytime. Traffic management plans (TMP) for the work area will be implemented to ensure the safety of residents, traffic, and workers.

Construction is on-going. In mid-October, the roads were milled, and a hot mix asphalt leveler course was applied. The contractor continues to excavate, prep, and pour concrete sidewalks. Once all sidewalk work is complete, final paving will be scheduled.
