Blackberry Lane Sewer Pump Station Improvements
FRAMINGHAM, MA - The City of Framingham Department of Public Works will host a virtual neighborhood meeting via Zoom on Thursday, March 11, at 6 p.m., to discuss the Blackberry Sewer Pumping Station Project.
City staff and the design consultant will present information about the project, including a new sewer pump system, electrical upgrades, and appurtenances. This project will require a daily road closure on Blackberry Lane.

The scope of the work of this contract consists of replacing the existing wastewater pump station with a new submersible style pump station to improve the capacity of the sewer system at that location. The main activities related to this project are as follows:
• Installation of a 460 GPM submersible pump system
• Installation of a valve chamber
• Installation of a wet well
• Upgrade the electrical service for pump station to 3 phase/480V
• Paving restoration in the affected areas
RJV Construction Corp. has been awarded the contract for the Blackberry Lane Sewer Pump Station Improvements project. Coordination and preparation are underway for construction to begin in early Spring 2021.
