Improvements to Public Infrastructure
The City of Framingham Department of Public Works has embarked on extensive improvements of its critical infrastructure systems - roadways and traffic management, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater conveyance.
Major portions of these vital systems have exceeded their life expectancy, are prone to failure, require excessive support and are not efficient. And, regulatory requirements mandate many of these necessary upgrades. The goal of these critical improvements to the infrastructure is to maintain regulatory compliance, improve conditions and reliability as well as reduce energy consumption. These improvements will be fully coordinated with other city, state and private projects to maximize value and system effectiveness.
