This entirely self-paced online course will teach you the basics of designing with native plants and show you how to incorporate native plants into your garden and landscape. Discover the variety of native plants found throughout New England and learn how to design a visually interesting landscape that also supports biodiversity. Students complete the course at their own pace.
Open enrollment begins Monday, November 14 and ends Sunday, April 2.

Spend your vacation week creating with clay! Students Ages 6-13 will learn hand building techniques such as slab, pinch, and coil to create original works of ceramic art; ages 10-13 will get a chance to explore the potter's wheel. Teens will work on the wheel and learn techniques such as wedging, centering, and forming. After the student uses underglazes to add color to their unique design, works will be fired in the kiln and parents will be notified when ready to pick up. All supplies included. Cost $160-$170.
